Singlton

The brief was to craft a sophisticated contemporary home designed for family who frequently entertain their extended family and friends.  The client wanted an elegant, imposing home on a single level,  suitable for entertaining on a large scale.  The front entry is approached by a sweeping (in/out) driveway with porte cochere at the centre of the house, leading through to the main living/dining areas towards the rear overlooking the gardens. An expansive partially covered north facing terrace runs the full length of the house, and can be access from the kitchen, living and dining areas, extending the living spaces outside whilst shading summer sun and rain. The bedroom suites are located away from the living and entertaining areas and occupy the front eastern side of the house, whilst an executive office, indoor pool and gym occupy the western side.
